Where do I even begin?
The last ten years have been a huge journey of transformation for me.
I left a marriage that no longer served me and slowly began the process of coming back home to myself.
My background—believe it or not—is in finance.
I trained as a chartered accountant and spent years working in that industry.
But the whole time, there was this little voice inside me saying, “This isn’t what you’re meant to be doing.”
That voice grew louder until I couldn’t ignore it.
I followed the call into yoga teacher training, then pregnancy yoga training, and finally, during my second pregnancy, I realised where my true passion and purpose lay: supporting women in the birth space.
That’s when I found Anna.
I joined her The Natural Birth Course and became obsessed with The Natural Birth Podcast.
While pregnant, I also signed up for The Sacred Birth Worker Mentorship and began my training to become a sacred birth worker.
Not long after, I had the most badass, empowering, mind-blowing home birth of my dreams (you can listen to it on here “Made to Birth Babies!”).
That experience cemented my belief that my purpose was to walk alongside women in birth.
On maternity leave, I made a huge leap: I quit my safe, well-paid job as a financial controller in a fast-growth tech company and decided to follow my heart.
I set up my own business (then called Untamed Birth), built a website… and then waited.
That’s when panic set in.
Doubts crept in too—about money, about whether I was “good enough,” about whether I’d made the right choice.
I took on some freelance bookkeeping and finance clients to keep the bills covered, but I knew I couldn’t sustain being a full-time doula with two little boys under four.
I didn’t want to sacrifice my presence with my family.
I felt stuck, wondering what was next.
Then Anna launched her Business Course for Birth Workers, and it honestly felt like the sign I had been waiting for.
Wow, wow, WOW.
Just like The Sacred Birth Worker Mentorship, this course cracked me wide open from day one.
Before even touching the practical side of business, we dove deep into our beliefs about money, our relationship with it, our mindset around it, and the habits that shape it.
The shifts I experienced in just that first week were incredible.
From there, we moved into clarifying our goals, getting clear on our unique offerings, and honing in on what made our work stand out.
That was the game-changer for me.
In one week, my whole brand, voice, and offering transformed.
I realised my passion, right now, is supporting new mothers—because that’s what I’m living and breathing myself.
I rebranded everything and birthed Rewilding Mamas.
In just five weeks, I created more than I thought possible.
I learned that with the right focus and flow, even limited time can produce huge results, especially when you honor your feminine energy rather than push against it.
One of my proudest creations during this time was my podcast, There’s a Baby in My Bed.
Co-sleeping saved my sanity with my second baby, and I felt a fiery passion to advocate for it.
Anna helped me see that podcasting could become a powerful way to build trust and grow my audience.
I let go of perfectionism and just went for it—and soon I had guests joining me from all over the world.
Another big takeaway from the course was the importance of creating online offerings.
For stability, for flexibility, for freedom—it just makes sense.
And that’s when the Moneywise Mama course was born.
With my background in finance, I realised I had something truly unique to offer.
Moneywise Mama is a women-centred money course designed specifically for new mums.
It blends practical financial guidance with gentle inner work, helping women feel calm, confident, and in control of their money.
It’s about navigating maternity leave, managing family finances, and planning for the future, while also addressing mindset and even using movement practices to release financial stress.
It felt like merging two parts of myself into something entirely new.
One of the most powerful aspects of Anna’s course was the container itself.
Being surrounded by a circle of women who cheered each other on, who made you feel safe to share wild ideas, who held you accountable—it was magic.
That support didn’t stop when the course ended, either.
The continued accountability has kept me moving forward long after those five weeks were over.
My journey so far has shown me that the path of a birth worker and mama is never linear—it’s cyclical, flowing, and always evolving.
What I know for sure is that this work is my calling, and I am here to support women and mothers in reclaiming their power, their voices, and their trust in themselves.
The Moneywise Mama course is one expression of that calling, a unique blend of my finance background and my heart for motherhood.
It’s designed to empower women to feel grounded, confident, and abundant as they step into this wild, beautiful season of life.
I see it growing into a movement of financially wise, soul-led mothers who know that money can be a tool for freedom, not a source of fear.
Alongside this, my podcast There’s a Baby in My Bed continues to be a space where honest stories about motherhood and co-sleeping are shared.
Storytelling has such power, and I know this will remain one of the ways I connect, teach, and hold space for others for years to come.
My vision is big: a thriving community of women who feel supported not just in birth, but in the messy, magical journey of motherhood.
A sisterhood where money, motherhood, and mindset are talked about openly.
A space where women feel less alone, more resourced, and deeply held.
If you’re reading this now, whether today or five years from now, know that the invitation is open.
You’re welcome to step into my world: join the conversation on the podcast, connect with me online, or explore one of my offerings when the time feels right for you.
I can’t wait to see where this journey takes us, together.
