Reclaiming the Wise Woman Path in a World That Forgot Her

We live in a world that has sanitized, sterilized, and systemized everything sacred.
Birth, death, menstruation, menopause—these were once guided by wise women, by midwives and healers, by aunties and priestesses.

But over generations, through colonization, control, power and greed, medicalization, and fear, these rites of passage were stripped of their meaning and no longer held as sacred or woman's business.

And with that, you—the woman who remembers—were told to forget.

To be quiet.
To get a think logically.
To be "as good as any man".
To not be too mystical, too loud, too intuitive, too sensitive, too much.

But your soul didn’t forget.
It just waited for the right time to rise again.

The Rise of the Sacred Birth Worker is the Rise of the Wise Woman

The reason you feel this pull toward birth work isn’t because you want a new job or a side hustle.

It’s because something inside you knows this work is your lineage.

You are part of a long line of women who’ve whispered prayers into laboring ears, who’ve held the line at the threshold between worlds, who’ve protected the sacred in times of fear.

Being a birth worker—a sacred birth worker—isn’t a career.

It’s a remembrance.

It’s you saying, "I will no longer betray this inner knowing whispering for me to hear the call."

Rebellion Can Be Gentle, Too

If you feel like stepping into this ancient role is you rebelling against the system—you are.

If you’re questioning everything you were taught about birth, womanhood and intuition—you should be.

But this rebellion doesn’t always have to be loud.

It’s choosing to rest when you need rest, bleed without shame and honor it, feel all that you feel without reservation and deeply nourish your feminine in the way she needs to be nourished.

It is living your life according to your inner cycles and rythms, honoring each season.

It's honoring mothers and women for their incredible value they bring to the world with their depth of heart, strength and courage, great intuition and creative gifts.

Reclaiming the wise woman path is saying yes to a life that honors cycles, slowness, spirit, and soul and woman as the life giver and matriarch.

And yes—there’s grief in realizing how much has been lost.

But there’s also incredible power in choosing to remember, reclaim and rebuild it… together.

You Are Not Alone (Even If It Feels That Way)

One of the hardest things about wanting to walk this path is how invisible you can feel.

How people don’t get it.

How your partner or parents might ask,
“Wait, what exactly is it that you want to do again?”

And you’re like,

“I want to hold space for transformation.

I want to protect the sacred.

I want to guide women back to themselves.”

It’s hard to explain because this path is a remembrance of what you already hold in your blood and bones.

It’s not certified by a government body.

It’s not recognized by the systems we’ve been conditioned to trust.

But it’s real.

And it's a soul calling.

So if you’re reading this with goosebumps—please know:

You are not alone.

You are part of a much bigger remembering.
