Episode 3: From Midwife to Midwitch – The Dark Night That Birthed Sacred Birth International

In this episode, I open up about one of the most pivotal and challenging seasons of my life, the moment I de-registered as a midwife and went from the spiritual midwife to the spiritual midwitch. After years of living abroad, I returned to Sweden and found myself in the midst of a dark night of the soul. My personal life unraveled, I faced near-burnout, and my nervous system cried out for rest after years of being constantly on call as my own personal life needed my full attention. Yet stepping back also meant no income. I was down to my last cents. This crisis became my turning point. I chose to fully commit to building my online birth business to burnout proof my business for the long term. I enrolled in an online business course, birthed Sacred Birth International, The Sacred Birth Worker Mentorship & The Business Course for Birth workers, and faced head-on the fears that had kept me small: fear of failure, fear of success, imposter syndrome, the witch wound, the sisterhood wound, and the fear of judgment. What unfolded was a total transformation of my life and work. In this raw and intimate episode, I share how committing fully to my online birth business, trusting in my vision and the unknown cracked me open, and how feeling the fear and doing it anyways allowed me to rise into my truest calling.
